Benjamin Rabinovici and Dr. Andrew L. Warshaw. The 1997 Man of the Year. Dr. Benjamin Rabinovici was born in Romania. He studied at the well known Vizhinitzer Yeshiva where he granted Smicha. Following his years at the Yeshiva he went to the Polytechnic University of Bucharest where he graduated with a B.S. degree in electrical engineering. When he immigrated to the United States in 1951. he continued his education at Columbia University where he received an M.S. degree in electrical engineering and the degree of Ph.D. in applied physics. Dr. Rabinovici held senior scientific and managerial positions at CBS Laboratories.
