I am pleased today to join Senator ABRAHAM. chairman of the Immigration Subcommittee. as a cosponsor of legislation to clarify the intent of Congress under section 110 of the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996. He has taken up this matter to clarify the intent of Congress and I appreciate his efforts and those of Senator KENNEDY to deal with this expeditiously. The interest of North Dakota in this bill specifically relates to the impact of imposing section 110 entryexit requirements on the land border between Canada and North Dakota. In September.
