Mr. President. the majority leader and I. and I think most Members. do wish to complete action on this bill today. At this point. I know of three or four rather hotly contested amendments: One by Mr. HUTCHINSON. the Senator from Arkansas. on American heritage rivers. the possibility of one on immigration reform that is. of course. not particularly germane to this bill. by the Senator from Florida. Mr. MACK. an Indian gambling amendment by Senators ENZI and BROWNBACK. and one relating to money for gang suppression on Indian reservations which would close down the Wilson Center here. I hope we could move forward on each of these promptly.
