I thought of doing something a little bit differently. and in talking to the gen-. tleman from Arizona and the gentleman from Georgia and those that may be viewing hopefully back home in New Jersey. I will talk a little bit about the four people from New Jersey who participated and signed the Constitution. For my friend. the gentleman from Georgia and my friend. the gentleman from Arizona . and the chairman from Louisiana. I will give a little history on the four gentlemen. William Paterson. Jonathan Dayton. David Brearly. and William Livingston. William Paterson was born in Ireland in 1745. When he was almost 2 years of age his family emigrated to America. disembarking in Newcastle. Delaware. In 1750 he settled in Princeton.
