amendment takes just a small percentage of the large increase in funding provided for the innovative education program for fiscal year 1998. but the amendment provides a large proportional increase for the CRACs. With the increase provided under this amendment. CRACs can continue their quality service to school districts throughout this Nation. The number of disadvantage. language minority. tribal. and migrant kids is increasing every year. and as we enter the 20th century. the number of kids will continue to rise. We must be prepared to meet the needs of these students. Vote for the Rodriguez amendment and help these centers continue the quality assistance that they have been providing for the past several years and continue to help this Nations children.
