Madam President. the instant you discuss these issues there are those in this town who categorize you in one of two camps. You are described as a free trader. period. end of story. This connotes. by the way. that you support all of these negotiations and fast track and so on. You are either a free trader. or you are some kind of xenophobic. isolationist stooge who doesnt get it and are called a basic protectionist. Those are the two camps. You are one or the other. and you cant be in between because there is no thoughtfulness in between. we are told.
