If someone has been of bad moral character. they will not qualify. If someone has not been here the required amount of time. they will not qualify. We are saying that those who played by the rules will have a fair opportunity to have their case heard by an immigration judge. I welcome comments from the broader community on this legislation. and look forward to the opportunity to work with the Senate Judiciary Committee and Immigration Subcommittee to ensure its future success.
