The primary way in which wealth is accumulated in America. or anyplace. handed down from one generation to another. no matter how small it is. a few pots and pans. a wagon. a mule. the little house. maybe an acre. maybe a big farm. things that had been handed down over the years were not there to be passed down. For 232 years nothing could be passed down. So is it any wonder that AfricanAmericans are the poorest people in America. even poorer than the immigrants that came over. who brought some tools with them in a bag. who brought some knowhow with them. who brought contacts? They had contacts with relatives who lived here. They had more than the slaves ever had.
