I know first hand that our current domestic policies are not working. Too many of my constituents are living in fear of the drug smugglers. This must stop. Our Government needs to take substantive action to get more cooperation from Mexico. Further statements. such as decertification. promise only to deliver lurther failures in the war on drugs while possibly threatening the stability of the Mexican economy leading to Increasing illegal immigration. My colleagues. please loin me in rolling up your sleeves and do the hard work of stopping the flow of drugs rather than continuing the businessasusual decertification approach of empty promises.
