He has generated a bipartisan solution in many instances when many of us thought there was no way out. It has taken real courage on his part in many instances to find that bipartisan solution. The Senate has witnessed that just recently in the immigration issue. Knowing his departure was coming upon us. many of us have worked with him long and hard to try to help him achieve his goal of the passage of sound legislation in the immigration field.
