I think there are those who will find excuses to try to kill this bill and try to find ways not to address an issue that has been ignored for over a decade. We must not forget that California has been disproportionately hit with paying $400 million a year in emergency health care. S500 million for incarceration costs. and $2 billion in providing education for illegal aliens in our State. Congress must still recognize that these are federally mandated costs and it is up to the Federal Government to either put up or shut up in ending these unfunded mandates. Thank you.
