Mr. Speaker. I thank my good friend from California for this time. Mr. Speaker. I would make the observation that despite the prevailing winds of what is politically correct. this is one of the few instances in official Washington where a description accurately fits the act it is describing. for this rule and this legislation addresses the problem of illegal immigration. By its very definition. it is an act against the law. And for that reason primarily. if an action is taken which is illegal. there should be sanctions against those who would participate in that illegal act. That is why I rise in strong support of the rule and the legislation.
