I would agree with my distinguished colleague and friend. the gentleman from California. it is not about money. I also do not think it is about that beautiful last line in the Pledge of Allegiance. liberty and justice for all. There are some of us that can make a compelling case that not only has Legal Services been arrogant and corrupt and done things to exacerbate illegal immigration and has actually hurt the poor by not letting people evict drug dealers from public housing. but past administrations have attempted without success to place any restrictions on LSC. Their current President. Alexander Forger. has been particularly arrogant about his intention to resist any future congressional limitations.
