This would have applied to those who had only received the sponsor agreement to provide support for 3 years. an agreement that is not legally enforceable. So I Just do not believe it is unreasonable for the taxpayers of this country to require recently arrived immigrants to depend on their sponsors for the first 5 years under all circumstances if the sponsor has the assets. If the sponsor does not have the assets. we will pick them up. We have never failed to do that.
