I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate completes its business today. it stand in adjournment until the hour of 9 a.m. on Wednesday. May 1. further. that immediately following the prayer. the Journal of proceedings be deemed approved to date. no resolutions come over under the rule. the call of the calendar be dispensed of. the morning hour be deemed to have expired. and there then be a period for morning business with Senator LUGAR to be recognized for up to 45 minutes. I further ask that immediately following Senator LUGARs statement the Senate resume consideration of the immigration bill.
