Mr. President. the Senate will resume consideration of S. 1664. the immigration bill. at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. and at that time Senators are urged to offer amendments that may be cleared to the immigration bill. Senators are also reminded that all seconddegree amendments to the Simpson amendment must be filed by 4 p.m. on Monday in order to qualify postcloture. Mr. President. Senators can expect additional votes on the immigration bill on Monday following the cloture vote. however. no votes will occur prior to 5 p.m. on Monday. The Senate may also be asked to turn to any other legislative items that can be cleared for action.
