But when they go for a Job. right now it is virtually impossible for employers to verify whether they are legal or not. I think the approach taken in this bill is a good one. and I hope it will be part of the bill when it leaves this Chamber. I also think it is important that the bill authorizes an increase of 300 new investigators at INS to go after the visa overstayers. because so many of our illegal immigrants are those who overstay their visa. So that is excellent. I have long supported cracking down on those who manufacture and use fraudulent documents.
