I think that is a very important distinction. I hope we will hold closely as we debate this issue. The American public wants us to enforce our laws against illegal immigration. The case is even stronger when. by doing so. we would be making jobs available to hundreds of thousands of U.S. agricultural workers. and there are hundreds of thousands of U.S. agricultural workers. Even though this is not quite ancillary to the debate.
