A word should be said about our distinguished Commissioner of Immigration and Naturalization. Doris Meissner. She could not be with us. of course. because of the loss of her husband in that fatal crash going into Dubrovnik last week. Chuck Meissner. the Assistant Secretary of Commerce In charge of Internationpl Trade. was on that plane. that tragic loss. I talked to Commissioner Meissner and said that I know we have the scheduled opening of the school. but we ought to call that off.
