I first of all want to make very clear that those of us that oppose this amendment do very much want to crack down on illegal immigration. There are many things which I support. I supported the Tate amendment which basically stated that if. for example. somebody does try to come into this country illegally. they will then not be able to come Into this country legally at some later time. so do not even bother to try to come in again.
