What will they be doing if they were not in school? Well. certainly nothing that we want them to be doing. This promotion of ignorance on the part of any category of immigrants is an outrage. These are children. We have exempted them from the efforts that we have made over the years to try to deal with illegal immigration. starting back in 1986. We should continue to do so. Mr. Chairman. I want a tough illegal immigration bill. I am the cosponsor of this bill. But do not add these kinds of amendments that are unreasonable. illegal and not in the interest of the public.
