Mr. Chairman. this amendment is designed to bring honesty and integrity back to our administration system. But what most Americans are not aware of is that those that come to this country and intentionally violate our immigration laws are still eligible for legal immigration and temporary visa benefits in future years. We have created a revolving door. so to speak. Mr. Chairman. our Forefathers. with great foresight. created a system to make this the strongest. most prosperous country in the world by allowing people from all countries to come to our great Nation. However. many take advantage of this open door policy. Even if one is caught and deported. they can still in the future apply for a student visa or a green card. This is not what America is all about. Mr.
