Session #104 · 1995–97

Speech #1040186964

We very strictly confine in this legislation who does it. But. by golly. we have to identify who they are and what the foreign terrorist organizations are. and then kick those people out and do not let them come in. We are talking now about asylum seekers. We do not want people to come into our airports in New York and Miami and San Francisco and have the opportunity when they set foot in this country to claim political asylum. "hey. I will be persecuted if I am sent home." and use that as a cover to stay here. as we have had terrorists already do involving the World Trade Center and other activities in this country.
