From Watergate to the U.S. Commission on Immigration Reform. our Nation relied on her time and again to give us straight answers. And she never left us disappointed. In another significant first. she delivered the keynote address at the 1976 Democratic Party Conventionthe first black woman in the 144history of our party to do so.
