The administration has not said one word to me or to this subcommittee or to the full committee or to the House. about what they would like to see done in this bill. We have waited. We have asked for their assistance and their cooperation. They have refused. We have no choice now but to move forward. like it or not. Unless we pass a bill and find a way to get I. signed. none of these resources can become available to our communities. If the programs in this bill are important to the Members. if the fight against violent crime and illegal aliens is important to the Members. If it is important to Members to help stamp out violence against women. then vote for this bill. Step forward.
