Session #104 · 1995–97

Speech #1040105178

There are dozens of other ways in which examples abound about how our interests are or are not represented. We have millions of Americans traveling abroad every year. millions probably even as I speak right now. They expect to be able to walk into an embassy or a consulate office and get answers. They expect to be able to get a visa. They expect to have their interests represented. If they get in an accident abroad. if they have a sickness abroad. if something happens where they are falsely arrested or some other event takes place. we need to be able to represent the interests of those citizens abroad.
