Session #103 · 1993–95

Speech #1030065472

Mr. Speaker. we are getting some interesting reinterpretations on history here. First of all. the Kurdish refugee money was paid for. It was paid for out of monies we got from our allies. So it was pay as you go. We are suggesting maybe on this one we ought to have pay as you go. too. and what we ought to do is round up some of the money from next years appropriations bills. We can deal with this money right now. but what about the billions that are going to have to be spent next year? The Democrats have turned that down as an idea as well.
