I think the worst possible signal we could send to the world is that when at least you have an administration that is attempting to reform. that has been so long overdue in Mexico. that America slaps it down. If that happens. what is going to happen to Mexico at that point? What will happen to their economy? For the last few years. the economy has been growing because of the reforms. If we slap the reformers down. it will be back to the old ways. Talk about an illegal alien problem. Then when the economy is on the downturn in Mexico. talk about environmental problems. when their economy goes into a downturn because they have thrown out the reformers.
