There was very little attempt if any to get answers about what he might know about the prison system in Vietnam. or what he might know about American POWs. or missing people. But it seems interesting. I have spent the last 9 years of my life trying to get this Government to show some interest in Robert Garwood. enough interest to be able to depose him thoroughly. to get whatever information he had to tell. As you know. we deposed thousands of other people. refugees. boat people. activists. and others who have had their stories to tell. But it took a long time to get Mr. Garwood deposed. not because Mr.
