All over this world today where nations have allowed their governments to get too big. where they have followed big government liberalism. where they have followed socialism and Communisttype governments. people have suffered. We see people in other nations starving in the streets or lined up 8 or 9 hours to get a pound of sausage. things that we take for granted. We need to learn a lesson that we better not stray from our free enterprise system and go in the direction toward more government. more regulation. more redtape in this country where the same things that are causing illegal aliens to want to come so badly to the United States will be happening here at some point in the future. I rise in strong support of this amendment. and I urge my colleagues to do likewise.
