I am deeply honored on behalf of my fellow Tennesseans to extend a very warm welcome to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit of Thailand on the occasion of her visit to the United States. Her Majesty Is well known here In the United States and elsewhere as a strong advocate of the welfare of the Thai people. Equally as Important. Her Majesty has extended the safety of her country to refugees displaced by problems In neighboring countries. This generosity and compassion has eased the suffering of untold millions of people. Her Majesty has also helped lead efforts to develop her country economically.
