Session #103 · 1993–95

Speech #1030019558

I would appeal to Members on both sides of the aisle. do not stand blindly and idly by while your basic rights and those of your constituents are being stripped away. This is not a partisan matter. This is about a role of the peoples branch. and your place in it. If you do not fight for it now. you will soon be out of it. You had better think about that. Mr. Speaker. at this point in the RECORD I include extraneous material. including the rollcall votes in the Committee on Rules. including the rollcall vote where every Democrat voted party line against my amendment. the Solomon amendment. banning HIVAIDS infected immigrants from coming into this country.
