And we have been together. But one of the difficulties in this issue. and we will have to address it. but I would be interested in the thoughts of the gentleman about it. is if you have someone who is seeking refugee status to come to the United States because they facepersecution may not be sufficient--but the kind of threat of execution by the authorities in a country. if we allow people to get refugee status on that basis. what should we do then if that individual has HIV infection? Should we turn them back to certain execution and persecution. or should we accept them on the basis which the United States has accepted refugees in the past? I only single out this specific issue. Obviously it is narrower than the broader question do we let anybody who wants to come to the United States for permanent residency who may well end up as a public charge.
