I do not know if the House voted on it or not. But I think that was good policy. I think that policy helped save lives and helped keep the disease out of the United States or helped reduce the number of immigrants coming into this country that have HIV. So the politics. if there is any politics. the politics has been initiated by the Clinton administration trying to push whatever agenda. an agenda that at least in my opinion is not good for the country. an agenda that is going to be very expensive for the country. When we talk about dollars. no one on the other side who is proposing this amendment can truthfully say that this amendment or the change in policy will not cost a lot of money.
