That is what we should be interested in. If you or a member of your family have the danger of tuberculosis. you cannot come into the United States of America. At the time we passed the Immigration Act of 1990. we had a Republican President of the United States and a Republican Secretary of HHS. and we had a Republican Attorney General. and we said we will permit them to make the judgment of how to handle excludable diseases. But now the Senator from Oklahoma wont have it. We were prepared in 1990 to give a Republican President the same kind of authority they want to take away from our President.
