And not only will they not acknowledge that fact. but they will not allow any amendments to it. They will not allow us to make it better. The gentlemans amendments are perfectly reasonable amendments. and it is incredible to me that they want to jam through. for the sake of politics to show that President Clinton can get something done in his first few days. a bill that could be as onerous and overwhelmingly bad. and which could authorize and entitle illegal aliens to participate in our electoral process so that people totally lose confidence in the electoral system of this country. And it is frightening. It is absolutely mindboggling and frightening.
