Bairds confirmation hearings. there are millions of American citizens who have but a fraction of the income of Zoo Baird and her husband. but who do not break the law to solve their child care problems. Second. and more importantly. Zoo Baird is not everyone. Zoo Baird has been nominated to be the highest legal officer in this Nation. The Office of Attorney General is different from every other Cabinet position. The Attorney General is ultimately responsible for the prosecution of all violations of U.S. immigration laws. The person who enforces these laws cannot credibly be a person who has knowingly and intentionally broken those very laws for years. In many cases involving issues of ethics in Government the issues are gray or cloudy.
