Lulz Tenodo and his friend Jorge Dos Santos came to this country from Brazil In the spring of 1991. They began work as tree planters for a U.S. Forest Service contractor. When they discovered that the contractor would not pay as promised. or as required by Forest Service regulations. their objections resulted In the termination of their employment. Since then. they have been instrumental in assisting the Immigration and Naturalization Service of the Department of Justice in Investigating such practices. Despite their ill fortune. both men have found new jobs to support their families and are currently productive members of their community. Recently.
