Tragically. he was right. Today. Bosnia is in its 14th week of war. Minister SilaJdzic told me that more than 50.000 people are dead. More than 1.5 million people are homeless. And. all but a fraction of Bosnias territory is under occupation by Belgradeled forces. The hallmark of this occupation is ethnic cleansing. NonSerbs are forced out of their homes. if they are lucky they are able to make it to the border with Croatia and on to refugee camps there or in neighboring Italy. Austria. or Hungary. If they are not so fortunate. they find themselves in concentration camps.
