After waiving in millions of illegal aliens under special legislation. we should cease harassing and attempting to deport a hardworking. respected businessman. like Francis Gildernew. While my outrage at the handling of Francis Gildernew by our Government agents is new. my sense of the injustice of the British handling of the Catholic minority in Northern Ireland is not. My outrage is ever greater when the civil rights conflict which has tragically torn the social fabric of Northern Ireland bears its bitter fruit in my congressional district in upstate New York.
