That should be good news for our international air carriers and airports. as more than 29 million International air passengers will travel to the United States this summer. Unfortunately. the airlines and airports are not the only ones Involved. All arrivIng passengers are examined by the Immigration and Naturalization Service. I am very concerned that the wait for this processing may become Intolerably longseveral hours In our busiest airports. Under an International agreement negotiated by the State Department. countries are supposed to complete examination of international passengers within 45 minutes after the passengers arrival.
