I wish to humbly express my concerns regarding the Balanced Budget Amendment * * * it represents a serious threat to refugee communities in this country and particularly in Oregon. The refugee communities in Oregon have worked hard to become productive and selfsufficient. For Oregon to maintain its capacity to effectively and successfully resettle current and future refugee arrivals. it is imperative that potential threats to the domestic resettlement program be identified and avoided.-Nady Tan.
