Under the estimates of Governor Chiles office of the State of Florida. for 2 years each one of these refugees cost State and local governments in the State of Florida. and I will assume this is also across the country. some $5.000. It is easy to understand when you start talking about the numbers that might come in. might very well come in and end up coming in under this particular statute. that that could be talking about many millions of dollars at a time when our State. as well as so many of the States across the country. are strapped for finances.
