AntiSemitic publications prevent the development of democracy by working against what democracy stands forfreedom for all. Extreme antiSemitic groups. fortunately. are not supported by the majority of the population in Russia. However. the local authorities are not preventing or speaking out against this activity. This has created a climate of fear and hatred. We must help put an end to this hatred by encouraging further democratic reform in Russia and the passage of laws which guarantees the human rights of all its citizens. We must also continue to fight for the free right to emigrate. We cannot stop until this is achieved. It is our responsibility.0
