For the United Statea. who In the past had vigorously opposed the involuntary repatriation of Vietnamese boat people by Hong Kong. to now turn our back on our suffering neighbors in Haiti. is truly an embarrassment. I also speak to the American people in the hope that a better understanding of Haiti will bring about a wave of reaction against this inhumane and barbaric act.
