Mr. Speaker. today I would like to honor the memory of George L. Warren. Jr.. a consultant for the House Committee on Foreign Affairs. who died after taking ill In his office at the Raybum Building on October 10.1991. Mr. Warren. 68. devoted his very productive lifetime to Government service. And he died doing what he liked best: dealing with world refugee matters. A native of Boston and graduate of Harvard University with a degree in economics. Mr. Warren spent most of his long career as a State Department Foreign Service officer. He was with the Army in Europe during World War II and received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart commendations during battlefield operations.
