Mr. President. I am proud to participate in the Congressional Call to Conscience by drawing my colleagues attention to the plight of Iosif Dimantone of the hundreds of Soviet Jews who is denied the right to live in freedom with his family in Israel. The Soviet Union has come a very long way in granting freedom to Soviet Jews. Yet it has a way to go. Over 600 documented cases of individuals who are denied exit remain. as well as an estimated several thousand undocumented cases. Iosif Dimant Is one such case. Iosif is an engineer who lives in Chenovtsky.
