Israel Is currently experiencing one of the most dramatic waves of Immigration in its history. Hundreds of thousands of Soviet Jews have poured Into the country over the past 2 years. riding a wave of hope away from the slow and painful disintegration of their lives In the Soviet Union. The costs of absorbing these Soviet Jews will be enormous. and Israel needs as much help as possible in fulfilling the aspirations of a generation of Soviet Jews.
