Sholom Comay and the American Jewish Committee brought special awareness not just to issues strictly related to the Jewish community but worked across communities and reached out. When it came to immigration issues. civil rights. hate crimes. Englishonly and others. Sholom Comay was there to stand against bigotry and to work for good and Just causes for all Americans.
