Mr. Speaker. if we had a man like Abraham Lincoln come in and change our form of government. and take pride in it. and change it over. if we did not support that kind of positive change. we would be just as guilty as if we did not support President Salinas. The changes that he has made in Mexican Government. in drugs. in immigration. in every positive aspect. we need to support because. if we do not. if we destroy the Salinas government. which I think we will if we do not support fast track and free trade. then we are going to take a giant step backward for mankind instead of forward.
